Job Objective

Support the design and development of automotive acoustic and thermal insulation components while gaining hands-on experience in product engineering, manufacturing processes, and cross‑functional collaboration within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of automotive acoustic and thermal insulation components, including:
    • Composite heat shields (aluminum & PET)
    • Thermoformed fiberglass
    • PET fibers, foams, shoddy
    • 2D die-cut insulation parts
  • Support CAD design activities, prototype development, Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE), and new product concepts
  • Participate in project meetings and technical reviews with internal teams and, when applicable, customers
  • Help execute and document product, process, and manufacturing feasibility studies
  • Support product design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with APQP-related activities, including prototype testing, tooling development, and process trials
  • Contribute to determining basic cycle times, workstation layouts, and work or assembly instructions
  • Learn and apply engineering standards such as DFM, DFA, FMEA, GD&T, and basic APQP principles

Skills & Learning Opportunities

    • CAD software (CATIA experience is a plus)
    • APQP and PPAP fundamentals
    • Product and process feasibility evaluations

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • Completion of at least sophomore year preferred
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing concepts
  • Familiarity with CAD software (CATIA or similar preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently as well as in a team

Language Requirements

  • English: Proficient (B2–C1 level)
  • Local language: Proficient (B2–C1 level)
