Calculation & Target Costing Engineer

Position assignment to the WAYS Career Path Program: Expert

Organization and development of competitive product calculations and improvement of necessary processes.

• Preparation of offer calculations and supplement calculations within a project team
• Coordination of all necessary technical documents within engineering departments
• Work close together with serial plants during calculation phase
• Support of Sales and CPS department for customer negotiations, new projects or change negotiations, Collaboration during acquisition phase of new projects
• Responsible for support of other departments during creation of SAP masterdata
• Responsible for Target Costing

• Bachelor degree in Business Engineering or similar education
• 1-2 years of professional experience in the automotive industry
• Work experience in an international environment and with international project teams
• Independent and advanced skills in SAP
• English language on B1-B2 level (person is able to express himself/herself in an advanced level, almost fluent and precisely)
• Local language on C1-C2 level (nearly native language knowledge; is able to express himself/herself spontaneously, fluently and precisely)

• Necessary Travel to Carcoustics USA Facility (located in Howell,MI) once a week to collaberate with design/manufacturing team.
• Functionally and disciplinary reporting to: Teamleader Calculation & Target Costing
• Represented by: Process Engineer Calculation & Target Costing
• Represents: Process Engineer Calculation & Target Costing
