Job Objective
Support the implementation and execution of Human Resources (People & Culture) processes during a structured internship period, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time HR Generalist role upon successful completion. This role supports defined HR process maps, regulatory frameworks, and the overall People & Culture strategy, while developing foundational generalist experience and business partnership capabilities.
Following the internship period, the full-time position will require relocation and full engagement with the local management team to support HR operations, process improvement, and compliance.
Internship-to-Full-Time Structure
- Internship Duration: 3 months (full-time)
- Post-Internship Role: HR Generalist (full-time, on-site); Relocation Required
- Ideal Candidate: Graduating undergraduate or graduate student seeking a long-term HR career and open to relocation for growth and experience
Job Description
During the internship and continuing into the full-time role, responsibilities include:
- Supporting the implementation and improvement of operational HR processes based on current and future business needs
- Assisting with accurate reporting of essential HR KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities
- Supporting personnel administration, time recording, and payroll processes
- Coordinating with external partners (e.g., authorities, service providers) and internal departments
- Assisting with HR controlling activities in collaboration with Controlling & Accounting, including personnel cost planning
- Supporting execution of employee lifecycle processes, including:
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Talent Management & Employee Engagement
- Training & Development
- Offboarding & Termination processes
- Acting as a point of contact for employees and local management on HR-related topics
- Supporting compliance with company standards, HR guidelines, and local legal requirements
Additional Tasks
- Participation in local and international HR projects or expert circles
- Continuous learning and development as part of the WAYS Career Path Program
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a comparable field
- Graduating undergraduate or graduate student strongly preferred
- Previous internships, co-ops, or part-time experience in HR, operations, or related disciplines is a plus
Technical & Language Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exposure to HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Spanish language skills preferred; willingness and commitment to learn Spanish required
