Job Objective

The Plant Controller acts based on figures, data and facts as a business partner for plant management and all organizational units in the plant with a strong expertise in finance and the ability to be leader in the decision-making process.

 

Description of Main Tasks

  • Execution of monthly reporting process in SAP and Lucanet and preparation of monthly deviation analysis (actual/target/plan). Presentation of results to management providing recommendations and claiming for actions.
  • Documentation and follow up of action plans and improvement measures (Profit and Cash Improvement Program - PCIP).
  • Execution & coordination of planning processes (budget, mid-term) and forecasts (monthly FC, liquidity, weekly sales) including deviation analysis and presentation to management.
  • Execution of cost center accounting and product costing (cost assessments, allocations, activity types, costing & pricing, production controlling).
  • Supporting investment planning and investment request process with DCF + capacity analysis and subsequent investment controlling.
  • Execution of ad hoc business analysis and controlling relevant KPIs (WC, PPV, SPV, etc.).
  • Supporting other departments like operations, purchasing, HR, COP, etc. in all relevant business questions.
  • C-SOX management tester.
  • Ensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 3+ years experience as a Controller.
  • Manufacturing and Automotive experience is a plus.
  • Strong manufacturing cost accounting and standard cost knowledge are highly desired.
  • Ability to make sound decisions using critical problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic work environment. Can manage priorities and work independently to make progress on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to explain figures and data to the respective addressee.
  • Advanced- independent user skills in SAP a plus.
  • Expert knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel a must.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $95,000 per year plus bonus based on skills and experience
