Maintenance Manager

Job Objective

Ensuring operative and scheduled maintenance and repairs of all machines and equipmnent, while meeting all regulations related to the factors quality, time and economical usage of resources, to guarantee maximum capacities for product manufacturing with following all safety, quality, environment and compliance guidelines. 

Training, leading, regulating and controlling all subordinates on a functional and disciplinary level to assure maximum machine and equipment capacity. 

Description of Main Tasks

• Assurance of the availability and maintenance of all machines and equipment related to all internal and external guidelines. 
• Responsibility for the execution and recording of maintenance and repair processes and implementation and maintenance of a TPM-System. 
• Planning of the preventive maintenance (PVI) including steady and improved quality standards including the observation of index numbers. 
• Execution of the shortage management for critical spare parts and emergency management for shortage machines. 
• Observation and assurance of the technical performance of all production machines and implementation of the CCPS within the area of responsibility. 
• Leading projects, as well as participating in projects. 
• Functional and disciplinary leadership of subordinates, including fostering and developing their abilities and fulfilling stand-by duties as stated within the resource scheduling.  
• Salary range $80k-100k. 

Skills and Competencies

• Economic or technological apprenticeship or additional specialist qualification (or comparable). 
• More than 7 years of work experience in an industrial company within the automotive sector. 
• 1-2 years practical work experience within an international environment. 
• Several years of management experience of complex teams. 
• Independent conduction of workshops, including the application of moderation-tools (agenda, time management, etc) and pronounced presentation skills. 
• Advanced MS Office skills. 
• Local language on C1-C2 level (person is able to express himself/herself spontaneously, fluently and precisely). 
• English skills on B1-B2 (advanced- independent usage of language).

• Representing the assigned maintenance department. 
• Cost-center responsibility. 
• Functional and disciplinary reporting to the Plant Manager. 
• Subordinated employees:  Maintenance Technicians.
